El sur de la Florida tiene dos de los puertos de cruceros más de más tráfico del mundo: el PortMiami y Port Everglades.

El Puerto de Miami registró un récord de 8.2 millones de visitantes en el año fiscal 2024, un aumento del 13 por ciento con respecto al período anterior. Entre los nuevos barcos se encuentran el Explora Journeys Explora II, el Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady, el MSC Cruises World America, el Norwegian Cruise Line Aqua, el Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady y el Oceania Allura.

Por su parte, Port Everglades en Fort Lauderdale, registró 4.1 millones de pasajeros en el año fiscal 2024, también un récord. Entre los nuevos barcos están el Crystal Serenity, el Sun Princess de Princess Cruises, el Silver Ray de Silversea y el Llama de Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
